Autumn, 2018. Sometimes a landscape can be on a small scale.
This photograph of a seed head was taken in September or early October 2015, just as the leaves were beginning to fall from the trees. I make no apologies for posting it just as the leaves are about to start appearing again.
The harvest has come and gone and we are at the beginning of a new year, but I've been looking back over 2015 and remembered this very foggy day in October. This photograph works very well printed onto a coarse rag paper which brings out the textures of the stubble and the contrast between the shadow and the white sky. Prints are available here.
